Nommo Awards Eligibility

Only works of speculative fiction by an African published between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2024 anywhere in the world are eligible.

There are 4 Awards Categories:

1. Novel: Stories of 40,000 words or longer  

2. Novella: Stories of between 17,500 and 40,000 words

3. Short Story: Stories of between 1 and 17,500 words

4. Graphic Novel: Stories that consist of both images and words of any length.

All members will have until end of day 19 May 2025 to submit their nominations.

The reading and voting 10 week period will begin after nominations are announced.
